Welcome to My Weather Website!

Hello everyone and welcome to my first blog post on my new Weather Website!

In this short first blog post I will talk about this website and what you can expect from it.

I have always had a big interest in weather. Back in 2018, I decided I would share my thoughts and opinions on the weather to the world, by creating an Instagram account, which you can see here. 

It was going well, and by early 2019 I had decided I wanted to make a website, where I could give live updates and forecasts to the world through an actual online internet page, and post maps, forecasts and more. I began to code a website, and it was starting to look good, until my computer unfortunately broke and I lost all my work...

I waited a very long time, but in December of 2020, I decided In would finally try again, and here it is. The website is finally happening!

I have really tried my best on this website, and put as wide a range of features as possible, from submitting your own storm reports to snow outlooks and more! I really recommend going through this website and looking at everything, because I have put quite a lot of effort into this and I hope it goes well. I am also planning to add further features as well, and some things on my list are tornado history and an explanation section. 

From this blog you can expect random stuff, maybe a more in depth look at the weather in the next few weeks, a look back at a past weather event, or maybe even a new feature I'm adding to the website. 

I do have to say though, this website is not my full time job, I have schoolwork and other things to do, so sometimes this website may not always be updated, or a map might not be put up in time, etc.
