What do the dots mean?
The dots are colour coded for each type of report, brown/orange for Flood, blue for Wind, green for Hail, red for Tornado and Black for large hail (2.5cm+) or severe wind (58mph+)

How are Storm Reports collected and what is there to know about them?
Because of the way the weather is in the UK, the lack of storm chasers and more, it's quite hard to create a storm report system, at least one similar to the US one. However I do think that it is possible so I have tried my best to try a system that will hopefully work. Storm reports are collected via weather forums and twitter, as well as submitting them through this website. Because of the way reports are submitted, not all reports will be accurate (or possibly even true!), and I will try to filter reports by matching the location with radar.
